Gq td42 dx dash waning lights

I'm currently install a td42 in my patrol, it is a ti an I'm using a st cluster but only a dx woring loom.
So my question is what warning lights are on a dx dash cluster?

D be surprised if the ST and DX looms are different to be honest mate? Knowing Nissan they would just leave a heap of stuff unplugged in the DX but have a bigger loom.

Yendor is your man but I'd be surprised.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

I seem to be missing a few plugs in the wiring loom, ie oil pressure sender, 4wd light plug on transfer that's all I can think of ATM but I. Sure there are more

First question that needs to be asked what motor was in the patrol to start with before the TD42, ie was it petrol

I'm not 100% sure but I think the looms are different.

I know my mechanic mate was hoping to swap the cluster from his Maverick TB42 to his DX TD42 and the plugs and sockets were all different.

But Yendor would be the bloke to answer for sure.

Hi Mark, yes he has another thread about TB to TD conversion. I think though he has a TD loom out of a DX that he is replacing the TB loom with? You are right though the dash cluster is not compatible and will need to be changed too.

Ok car was originally to tb42efi I removed the whole harness and replaced it with a dx td42 harness, I have the cluster from the car the motor came from which was st spec, the dx loom plugs into the st cluster 100%

If your using the DX engine harness you will need to run an extra wire for the oil pressure gauge.

The 4WD sensor plug should be there.

If the vehicle was an auto you might need to bypass the start neutral circuit.
