Fairey type overdrive for patrol
I know you can get them for early 4 speed patrols but cant seem to find any info on later model 5 speed ones, can anyone help?? it would be an easy way to swap between 33 to 35's without doing the diffs.

What ratio is your 5th gear now? Nissan updated all GU Patrols as of 08/2004 with a longer spline main shaft and 5th gear according to Marks 4wd
Would this achieve what your after? http://www.marks4wd.com/mfk730.html
Time is never wasted when your wasted all the time
WARNING: Towballs used for recoveries can, and do kill people and damage property.

Yeh I have the 11/04 model but I was chasing the lower gearing the fairey type gives you as it gives you a half gear which would be great with the 35's

Stretching the memory but I'm sure it was just a lever to engage/dis-engage.
Mates Rangie had the vacuum diff loc when we went to the Cape in '83
some 60s had them too I think

No this is a seperate stick to give you a split gearbox so a 1/2 gear between each gear nothing to do with the diff
