    Ms Gillard and now former prime minister Kevin Rudd exit politics confident they are eligible for a parliamentary pension for life worth around $150,000 a year. They can also take new jobs and earn lucrative speakers fees on top of this amount.

    Yea it is BS. I've never liked it. And Gillard bloody upped it all threw her time.
    No wonder why we're farked as a country.
    Should be 10 years service like the rest of us minimum for a nice reward, not lifetime..
