    Nav run Tas

Spent last weekend camped at Zeehan caravan park where there were 20 odd 4WDs doing a 3 day navigation competition and I have to congratulate them an their Behavior. Not being part of this show we did not know what we may have been in for . They were very respectful of all other campers DID not carry on until all hours and kept the noise to a minimum. While out doing their stuff they used a lot of different CB channels, and as we were doing some of the same tracks we scanned so as not to interfere with their competition. When we did listen in there was no swearing or bad mouthing Just good hard work going on. Most of these Guys and Gals had highly modified GQ`s and GU`s with a couple of Toyota`s (who were banished to the back blocks LOL ) They left the park as they found it with on torn up turf or wheelie marks. Areal credit to all concerned BLOODY WELL DONE

It's a good little comp hey? They do it annually. Ya shouldve jumped in the GU and had a run then traded them your north east GPS routes for their next comp! Haha

Have you had a cruise down the lake plimsol road yet?

    G`day mate
Did a bit of horse trading with a bloke named trout, a top bloke.
Have some 50thou maps of Tas now so watch out.
When down to Corrina had 100mm to spare on the Punt. Did the boat trip out through Hells Gate then to Sarah Island where we were treated to the best guided tour you would ever do The tour guide had me in tears with her wit and and explanation of what it was like on such a brutal place. Lunch was great with me pigging out on as much smoked salmon as one could eat plus all the other goodies.Value for money for the 140k round trip.We are now at Derwent Bridge where it`s pizing down, and here we are hoping to get the boat in the water and chase some trout.
Have covered a lot of tracks and been turned back by alot of locked gates but all good fun
The missus got to play captain for awhile and we never hit a thing.
