Your phone does the lot mate. You can wait until you get home to your wifi to upload and it will save the location until then.

Hey mate, that button will pull the videos you have uploaded to the you4wd site, not your YouTube videos.
No, it is not automatic, It's a script that goes and fetch unfortunately, if I left it automatic the entire world map would end up a disaster of unrelated videos.
Keep the questions and feed back coming gents, thanks Nic....Your other post with the dead page with no link is helpful, I'll fix that tonight mate, thank you!!!

I asked the owner of a very popular 4WD facebook page last night if he could share a link to the website and he would not do it because one of our members had spammed it on his page that night. I think the member was trying to do the right thing for Andy but posted it in the wrong section of the facebook or something like that, but it means we missed an opportunity to reach 50,000 4WD enthusiasts.
Thanks Winnie, really appreciate the help blokes, I really do....If It's a site where you think we should ask permission then if you get a chance then maybe ask them first. Similar to how we roll here I guess but again, appreciate the support as always!

This is same as Earth forum
Hey mate, thanks for your support...
As for 4x4Earth. Completely different to them mate. They run mainly on the forum for networking and trip reports, photos, rainfall and general trip planning on their map database, etc. This is more towards a fun media outlet dedicated to watching 4wd videos around the world. Not a social network forum set up. 4x4Earth do not have a great deal of videos. Purely images, small report and scripts that pull in data of average weather.

Mate, download the app...
When you take a video, open the app and press record. Whilst you are recording, the video is keeping the data of the location. When finished, save the video.
Get home to WIFI, upload the video on the app and name it, etc. Job done, the app will automatically put the video on the map of where it was taken and the details you put in. Your video will also upload to your own YouTube account as if you were normally uploading to YouTube.
Easy done!
