    Automatic Transmission Band Adjustment

Does anyone know where this brake band adjustment is done ?

I can find details on the RE4R03A like this:

    http://www.transgear.co.nz/Transmiss...djustment.html

    RL4R01A / RE4R01A / RE4R03A / JR403E

    Front band

Tighten 50in lbs back off 2 1/2 turns
But am unsure of where this is done.

Also does anyone know the effects of a little more or a little less in adjustment ?

This image gives some ideas where it is, is it a bolt on the outer casing ? If so where ?

A little more will make the gears changes harder and make your bands wear quicker. A little less will make it shift sloppy and hold the gears a bit longer. Also cause more wear

Don't know where the adjuster is
