At work we use whats supposedly known as Telstra rope. I think it's got 500kg-ish breaking load. We consistently pull multi-ton cables with it and it just keeps on keeping on. So I've used that to make up a bunch of stuff like your self Darren. Yell out if you need some as kilometres of it end up in the bins after cable pulls.

Also just noticed Aldi has those canvas bags again at the moment. I got some last year and they are great for the price!!! THis year they have some different ones up for grabs.

Cheers Eric. Yeah Telstra rope is awesome a little big for Mt application but i have used it to tie down more than a few trailer loads.

Last time out swagging I was short a couple of ropes for the swag tarp so this was timely. To be fair they will never really see daylight but I take your info on notice for sure!

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

It just came in a clear plastic bag. I'd call it packaging rather than a permanent use bag. Have you got a pic of the bag you got?

LEGENDS, FWIW, it’s illegal now to tie down loads with Telstra (Gas&Fuel/SEC-Thieves ) Good Ropes
Load covering say corner tarps lines are all good and legal but ratings are unlabelled for weight
Seriously TUFF ‘original’ stuff in the day
Tie a hanky to it, Atlas Copco blow it straight out 100m away and then grease the conduit/cable with plumbers ‘Mirror’ and then swear at your other two for not sweating/screaming hard enough shoving like
