Long story short Ash Mate…..here we go, witnessed a homemade similar awesome contraption over in the back blocks of China years ago.
Passing through a Western ‘Valve’ manufacturing town, truck after overloaded uncovered truck of Swarf (steel curls/mill shavings) were spilling out enroute to the recycling depot.
Have never seen so many tyre/tire repair shops in a a row
That’s how China works, employment lowered by design.
Smartest thing I saw was a magnetic contraption, pedal magneto I assume under a Hard Working Ladies what we would call a Tricycle, fully loaded little tipper on Her Tri-Tipper following the Big Rigs to the Recycling Plant

Gotta say that the Dremel is an overpriced item, but geewhiz, they are a handy bit of kit.
My advice is: not to follow my advice.

Yeah I've killed two of the 230v units, both died the exact same way, they just started sparking and carrying on, can't remember the model, both out of warranty, but bloody hell they are very handy. So I bought the 12V option. Still handy but weak as piss though.

Rear Hydraulic winch runs a 16mm rope, so tracked down a winch ring and soft coupling slings from George 4x4. $130 delivered and 150mm dia. The 12m rings, which I have also are limited to 12mm rope and dia 100mm.

EDIT, ring is rated for 15000KG, not pounds, so OK for larger winch, happy days

So I went to Bunnings today and bought this Hart Heavy Duty Magnetic Sweep.
Nice, I could do with one at work for picking up all the alloy swarf around my work bench, gunna hit the boss up on Monday.... will be heaps better than the broom

Hmmmm but it's a row of magnets, so aluminium and stainless won't be picked up by it.
If it's steel alloy you will be very pleased with how well it works

Have been looking for a single din digital radio to put in the pulsar. There's not really much out there. I found this little (60mm yes 60mm deep) cheapie on eBay, bloody thing works better than the pioneer unit in the patrol. With an iso wiring harness an hour later and under $90 I'm set..

Only fault would be a bit of a delay in changing stations, but for what it's worth it's nothing really..

I bought a new double din for the GU and never use it. I just wind down the rear passenger window and listen to the Garret whistle if I want some tunes. I honestly cannot remember the last time I actually used the head unit for music. I can't even remember how to turn it on!

I'm contemplating now removing the head unit and somehow mounting my 10inch tablet for maps in front of it. Just gotta figure this part out.
