Wot cuppa said...
Rip out whats left if anything of the old stem.
Fit the new one from the outside and nip down wingnut or nut to seal.
Inflate as normal
No need to remove the wheel or dismount the tyre or break the bead and... ipso facto... no hassles trying to reseat the bead to inflate
Dolphins are so smart that within a few weeks of captivity, they can train people to stand on the very edge of the pool and throw them fish.

OLED TV... $%$#^% AWESOME picture
Can easily count the zits on the kid in the 23rd row at the footy if your team is losing... which my team does a LOT at the moment...

Bought a 4 season 2 man tent today, ready for this years snow season camping adventures. Going to try this instead of the Darche swag and stretcher and see how it compares. Its a Coleman Helios Exponent X2, claims to have been tested satisfactorily on Everest, but who knows. The reviews seem fine though and construction appears similar to the other high performance tents .

Also bought a spare winch gearbox engagement lever for the rear winch. After the last trip which had its share of rear end thumps, it became obvious the winch could sustain impact damage if unlucky, and a smashed actuation lever could be all thats between a recovery or a long wait. Damn expensive (Warn 15000lb) but insurance.
