What did you buy today

Thanks for that MB , doesn't say what pressure the hose will handle , brother in law bought one similar price and it blew the hose at 100 psi , not sure what brand but ended up with a nearly $200 one from an industrial retail joint . I'm after the auto inflate unit to fit in the back of the GQ , it is pricey but less interruptions when your having a can or two waiting for the tyres to pump up .

It reckons on the spec sheet 170psi but time will tell :-)

I'm a little worried about it being a cheapo retractor spring inside too as it'll get used quite a bit on our block also. Here's hoping for a few years on the reel at least as mounting them both indoors inside the extra cab.

The one the brother in law bought was a SCA unit , I was almost going to buy one of those proxy air dragon pumps they advertise on tv and remove the electrics and chuck away the rest but after seeing that unit I will put it on the list for the cape trip next year .
Don't think I have the room for the hose reel unfortunately but want the auto inflator unit .

Went and bought filters all 'round, oils, etc... Few 12V gadgets! First $ spent on her in a couple of months.

How would you go making a small manifold with 4 outlets, hooked up to each tyre and pumping all 4 up at once?

Only drama I believe Winnie mate would be connecting and disconnecting all 4 in under 0.5 seconds before tyres all deflate if I'm thinking correctly?

Have a tap on the main line and close it while you're connecting up, then close it off once finished?

AhHa, a tap, derr MB, good idea mate ;-)

Use female Nitto fittings on the manifold to hold pressure whilst connecting. Also means you won't need plugs for outlets not being used.
