Natural cure silastic too. Acetic cure will rust aswell...

Just drill a hole in the end for a ring pin or R clip or padlock to hold em on with and a bit or the foam floor matting spiked over the mounts behind the tracks to stop vibrations..
no good for me westy, roof top tent does not leave enough length to attach them to the rack.

@ Kallen theres a project for you Tracks carrier using the rear wheel carrier, similar to the old Hi-lift holders.
Telescope some RHS and away you go,

I got it yesterday. Oh well.
Hopefully I will never need to use this.....but don't we all say that about all recovery gear.
On a side note I got to meet threedogs, what a top guy and he knows his stuff too.

Bought a handheld radio with a bullbar mounted antennae so I can monitor channel 10 on the Simpson and the channel we use or use one as a scanner.
2003 gu3 td42tdi sold 😞 bloody gvm towing crap. Bt50 3500kg gvm.

Hi Stropp I planned on taking our handheld radio as well.
I actually didn't realise another antenna was needed..duh!!!

Snicko you don't need another antennae but the one I bought had one with it so I just fitted it up, it was a 4.5 db one for close range hilly conditions so you can pick up over the Sandhills, my other one has a 6.5 db for longer range stuff on the flat.
If you get one just a 3db will be fine but you will need and adaptor to fit into your flexi antennae hole to the fitting on the cable.
