My son is an auto elec but thats not going to happen now eh GRrrrrrrrrr
In a perfect world a 3 battery set up would be nice with 2 x crankers for the winch
and a DC for the AUX. I had a 3 battery system in my other 4x4 but had no winch
just two lockers ARB and a Pro-locker up front best set up ever. Not sure what I want to do in the future
E-lockers are expensive IMO. I have an on board tank and motor again yet to be wired. Plus need to rip
the 3 gallon tank out of the other 4x4,,,so many jobs,,, How often do you come to town????
Like most things TD they get better with age , the newer wireless winch controls are the ducks nuts imo.

Insulation blanket for the exhaust from SuperCheap - 25% off, so at $35/10m, worth the effort. I was surprised to see its base is volcanic ash and ground up lava flow - interesting, but your hands get a bit of residue during the process of fitting it.

I reckon they work a treat, you can put your hand on the turbo after say a hwy run.
Plus my aux battery is a wet cell 115 trojan [more bang for buck] and I've found I
top it up less now.lol

I bought a Scangauge II as my Torque Pro app doesn't seem to work as well with the Patrol as it did with the Pajero?
I also bought a bluetooth dongle for my Victron BMV-702 battery monitor. This will basically send all of my BMV-702 data to my tablet or phone. (God I love technology!) This means I can move the ugly BMV-702 gauge out of the pillar pod and put it down the back somewhere, hmm this also means I now have a spare spot for another redarc gauge in the pillar pod. I am thinking Trans and engine temp gauge will go nicely in there.

Do you have the G52-BET model of the Redarc gauge? That has the optional temp display. Maybe wire up the water sensor to that. Providing you do have that model. I cant remember which one you ended up getting.

I went for the model with EGT and digital boost only (G52-EB) as I preferred the wider 270⁰ sweep of the needle. I'll have water temp on the scan gauge so will probably go for engine block temp and auto trans temp gauge (Not sure where the sensor goes on the GU for this, but I think it is on the trans oil cooler?). I've also got a low level coolant alarm on the way, but prefer to know the block temp also.
