A litre bottle on Old No.7 and a 700ml of Tennesee Fire. And two bottles of red. Lol. @gubigfish. I have the same kit. I cannot grasp the adjustments of this thing. I either do them too lose, or too tight and the pull through the panel. Grrrr.

I bought a redarc G52-EB, EGT and Boost gauge a few days ago, it arrived today and I notice it has a 1/8th NPT Male thread x 3/16" (4.75mm) Thermocouple Fitting, but I needed a 1/4" NPT male thread for my Manta 3" Exhaust. I had a couple of adapters at work for 1/8"-1/4" NPT, but these don't really allow the probe to sit in far enough if used.
I ended up buying a standard SS316 compression fitting from Pro-Chem in Perth, (Part Number 3-CM4-316) 1/4" Male NPT to 3/16" Tube. The problem with the usual compression fittings for SS Tube is that they are not designed to allow the tube to pass right through. The easy fix is to throw a 5mm drill bit through it (I had no imperial bits) and all is good in the world. Total cost was $14.50, beats paying Redarc another $50 for their 1/4" fitting.

I remember a similar thing mate when I put a 3inch pipe on mt 3ltr. So to fix that I simply cut the bung length down. Fixed in 5 minutes.

Not sure I follow you ? I needed a larger thread size fitting, the bung is 1/4" NPT, the Pyro fitting is only 1/8" NPT. Rather than use an adapter, I used a standard SS tube fitting.

Sorry bud. The Jack is kicking in right now... The welded bung in the pipe I cut down in length, then the 1/4 to 1/8 adaptor can screw in further down allowing the probe to bet further in.
I hope that explains it better.

Ahhh, got it now. I was going to cut my adapter in half, as it was fairly long but decided on just buying the right size fitting and drilling it out so the probe would fit through. Hopefully I can get the EGT gauge fitted this weekend, I also bought the Boost fitting kit that 3D linked to above, so should be good to go.

After much pissing around (about 3 days) I've finally managed to buy a pair of Silverado mirrors for the GQ , trying to get the plain one with just electric adjust that would ship to oz was a nightmare , one company wanting $99 for mirrors and $199 delivery .
This one has blinkers and god knows what else for $119 our money plus $23 delivery their money so I still get it for under $150 delivered .
Still have to make a bracket to suit the GQ but I think I can do it , might even hook the blinkers up but not sure I need heated function .

Got a refund for 4 old camping mats that were leaking air and then got 4 new replacement ones!

Then whilst I was there, also bought a new tent for the family from Costco for $120 - one of the Coleman instant tents which will hopefully made set outs a lot easier!!
