I wish they had put a metal prop to hold up the bonnet instead of the gas struts and I was thinking of how to go about it. I kept the old original gas struts and the new ones weren`t cheap, but at least it`s better than the broom stick.

Simple enough to do, take a measurement with your bonnet up,
armed with that info take a trip down to the wreckers and find
    a suitable rod to suit.

Nice! My exhaust/guages both rolled up yesterday. Ive fitted the exhaust, just the pod/guages to go. Any tips for installing the pod/guages?

Lashed out and bought a Tracklander flat roof rack. Spent about a month looking at all sorts of racks from expensive & well known to cheap & unknown. The only rack I couldn't find a bad word spoken about was the Tracklander.

Here's how I've mounted mine, plus a few extra on top of the dash

These make fitting to boost gauge easy,

Well just ordered some drop boxes to replace the offset bushes. Hoping it makes for a nicer ride.
