    Im not sold on it yet. I dont mind the heavier cheaper ones for splitting as the weight helps. Once I have used it a bit more I might think better of it.

    Yeah ive got one and do like it, but do prefer an old school nice axe with a bit of weight behind it for bigger splitting. Also not so good for driving in wedges. Handy for keeping in the 4by for camping tho.

    I've been splitting wood since I was 10 years old mate and hands down best axe I've used to date.

    You'll get used to it and find your own style. You can keep chopping all day without getting tired of the heavy splitters.

    The lightness of the handle versus the axe head works pretty good for weight distribution.

    I love the light handle and heavy head. I can swing it for twice as long before wearing myself out. Like AB I've been cutting wood since a young kid and it's easily the best I've used.
