I bought a wiring loom, new washer bottle and washer motors, and series 1 lights so people stop almost running up my back end when they tail gate me.

I went for red switches mainly as they dont glare at night and very easy
on the eyes

Measured with a clamp metre it wasn't quite 10amp some thing like 9.7 but close enough for me.
Even 8.5 amps I'd be stoked with. Fridge draws about 4 so even if it was running constantly id be in front

I do have another 120w foldable if i ever needed more juice

Clamp Meters will often give some 'unusual' readings on low current DC.

Budget for a max of 8 amps and you won't be dissapointed

Yeah I know they aren't perfect... However it is a good fluke meter so I'd hope it would be as accurate as you could get for a clamp meter

Bought a "winch in / winch out" carling style switch for "in-cabin" winch control. Not going to wire it up the traditional way. Going to wire it to a warn winch plug and only plug it in when required.

Bought the 150w solar blanket too. Lying on my bonnet the other day I was getting 10 amp gotta be happy with that

Got it today, had an old battery to try and recharge so hooked it up with the blanket flat on the drive at 2.00 pm saw 6 amps on my clip meter.

The high voltage light was on which means the battery if already fully charged, that is not the case. It also doesn't work at all on the Redarc BCDC solar input either.

Give it good test over the weekend and compare it to the folding 120watt panel I have.
