Spent a few hundred on oils for the GU yesterday at Repco (they have 30% off this weekend if you have an RACV card). But more importantly, I bought a roll of yellow hand towels from there. They're the best bloody hand towels I've ever used! They're actually absorbent, even for oil, which is more than I can say for 99% of the ones I've tried in the past. Great buy.
Going to go back today and buy a recovery kit, as I sold all of my gear before moving to NZ a few years ago, and haven't reacquired it all since moving back. Their recovery kits with snatch block, snatch strap, winch extension, tree trunk protector, equalisation strap and a couple of bow shackles seem like reasonable value.
These 5 core weather proof plugs have arrived, in conjunction with
with some 4mm 5 core trailer wire that arrived last week I can now wire
some lights on my roof rack,
I'll make a short 2mtr lead up ,this way it can be diconnected if I need to service any lights
or remove the roofrack
04 ST 3lt auto, not enough Mods to keep me happy, but getting there

Know what your saying. My son is now a qualified mechanic with his own gear, but my stuff still keeps going missing. His worst trait is not looking after gear that's not his. I call it the Errol Flynn syndrome .... "everything he touches, he f##@s!
Exactly the same , its simply if you use it,,, clean it and put it back where you got it from easy eh
Nah never gunna happen ,,,,,finding my tools everywhere, so I brought an antique 1/2" sold oak gentlemans wardrobe
and locked all my gear in that. Im happy now lol
