    Big ass air box

Been keepin all my fuel economy/power figures with every modification I am doing and its starting to show. all good but looking forward to installing a new patroldocta stainless steel air box for the Gu. Just started using vortex diesel - not convinced it will up the economy but will be doing the economy figures over a few tankloads as with the new airbox mod.image.jpg

is it possible to show your figures I bet a lot of GU ZD30 owners would like to compare.
I like those air boxes but a bit $$$$ for me

They are $$$ but after comparing standard airbox with the billet alloy lid air improvement kit $350 and those annoying clips trying to open the airbox .... agh!

    It'll be worth it.

You should start a thread and post your findings for different mods

Just bought drivetech 4x4 steering damper and enduro pro big bore shocks form ebay, hope they're ok. has anyone had them before? hope to fit them next week
Been a big couple of weeks though, took off the LPG system, fitted long range fuel tank, bought new plugs, leads, dizzy, and rotor button, fitted them all then radiator went last week so new radiator from asi performance & new hose and belt kit, fitted them on weekend. Time to save up for next lot of mods...Love it!

A mosquito net "tent" for the awning as part of the subscription to the mag.
Took about 20 minutes to set up but 15 minutes of that was working it out. I'd say it would take about 2 or 3 minutes to set up with 2 people as it has 2 shade sails to pull through and Velcro straps for other 2 tops sides and posts.
It will be great when out in sheep country to keep flies off the food long enough to eat and up north to keep mosquitos away on hot nights. Packs down in a bag same size as a sleeping bag and weighs about 2kg.
At the end of the day, all you have is yourself and all you need is your friends (and in our case our Patrol)
