Hey mate when will you post this up? I'm getting the same winch and have the same bar so wouldn't mind a bit of information and details on it. I'll keep an eye on your build thread as its not in there yet

Hey mate, I'm part the way through. Winch cradle itself is mounted - easier enough, just had to rotate the gearbox and install it upside down so that the clutch handle was clear and the rope was feeding out from the top. Still have to get longer bolts to mount the fair lead up properly.

Currently stalled in trying to mount the solenoid, because the winch cradle mounts vertically to the bar the normal mounting points wont work and require you to fabricate up a bracket. Due to the way my bar and grill sit, there is very little clearance to get access to the control box and clutch so its a bit fiddly

Other than that, (which I guess are issues to be expected when buying a lower cost winch designed to fit up to a heap of vehicles and bars), I'm generally impressed with the Runva 11XP!

Well I've had a bit of a win in the last couple of weeks.
Td and od will like this one

    ForumRunner_20141205_203905.png

    It's a soderfors (from what I can make) 131 pound no.3 anvil.
Pick it up from the old workshop which has sadly been sold with the land.

And today picked up a drill and 150mm bench grinder. For $150..

Have you run that Safe Work Procedure past a HSEC rep?

P.S. if that is too scale... has anyone ever mentioned you have really big ears and a weird rrse?
Dolphins are so smart that within a few weeks of captivity, they can train people to stand on the very edge of the pool and throw them fish.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
