That has come up smicko mate! Mine’s looking a bit tired and you’ve given me food for thought.

If I was to do it again with a bar that was in fair condition I would probably just rub it back with sandpaper or a course Scotch pad, then paint it with raptor. The condition of this bar really warranted stripping it back though.
I used a Raptor Schutz spray gun, but you can get a finer texture with a Raptor vari nozzle gun.
