Yeah I know they aren't perfect... However it is a good fluke meter so I'd hope it would be as accurate as you could get for a clamp meter
Yeah I have a couple of Fluke Clampmeters, hard to go past if you have the cash
It's not the meter itself, it's the method.
For the induction pick up to be accurate the conductor has to be centred and parallel.
That's why industrial hall effect transducers in fixed plant applications are usually sized to be snug on the cable.
Doesn't matter all that much tho, you get a 'feel' for the gear after a while.

I'm a bit put off mtz I only got <75,000 out of my last set, I know there is some new compound in the p3 but they have not been out long enough to know how many k's I don't think
