replacing gq roof ?

hi guys I got my gq patrol im fixing up to keep and ive started the body work the hole car is rust free sept for a lil bit in the drivers floor got that sorted but the roof its looking realy bad there is rust running the full length of the roof, I got a full rust free roof I was going to use for sections but now ive seen how bad the roof is im thinking of chopping off the hole roof through the pillars and doin a full swap is this passable if so how would I go about it.

As for your question..
Its a bloody big job..
I'd be to trying find a complete shell. But if you cut it, brace the hell out of it. Across the cab and diagonally to the corners..
