I worked on a shark boat off PT Welshpoole before I was married. Fishing in the Furneaux group in Bass straight.
Great experience but a bit Boring gutting 1000 sharks every night, Species was a Saw shark weird looking units.
Other species encountered were 7 gill leopard shark, Spur dod shark, Gummy and School. The best was when we anchored
on the Sheltered side of islands 21" Leather Jacket, Trevally , Huge Boar fish, couta and Squid using a rod. Pilot whales a plenty
Always brought home a feed of fish, great fun, a little dangerous, I loved it

I have a feeling the super trawler will decrease catch rates. I'd hate to have the 1.5 million loan then!
