    RD28T to RB30 conversion

Hey, looking at doing a conversion on my 1996 diesel patrol. As it's been giving me a bit of grief for sometime and cost a few $$$$$ I'm looking at the RB30...! Just wondering what would need to be changed, any problems, anyone who has done the conversion! Any help will be appreciated!ImageUploadedByMotorculture1381988747.128323.jpg

Are you considering a rb30s - carby, or going efi?

The gear boxes / bell housing are supposed to be the same.

If you go RB30s - the wiring will be simple.

The coil pack is mounted on the mot

When I put a rb30 into mu MK, I used Enzos to make a power steering hose

If you go efi - get a complete skyline setup - the looms are easyier to use.

clintrv - I would do a new the post under engine mechanical - as this post was about replacing the rd28t with a rb30.

One of the guys with a rd28 may notice the new post and respond. - sorry I have a tb42.
Also once you have 20 posts you can download the manuals.
