Cheers fellas. It's currently got a TB45. Tossing up ideas of either turboing the TB45 or a LS1/2 conversion, although that will be much further down the track sometime.

Had a busy day yesterday fitting up all my new toys while fighting a hangover in 40 degree heat. None the less I battled on like a true champion.

First thing I attacked was mounting and hard wiring the compressor. My original plan was to mount it behind my drawers in a specially made comartment. The physical size of the compressor destroyed that plan. This was basically the only other option.

I had my offsider lending a hand as well.

I figured while I had all the correct tools out I'd mount and wire up the lightbar. My original plan was to mount the bar to the underside of the rack to fill the gap between the roof and rack while leaving the rack open to carry longer items. I scrapped this idea once realising I would lose quite a bit of light throw from the reflection off the roof.

After bolting the bar on,I stood there looking at it trying to think about a new and exciting genius way to run the wiring in to the engine bay without drilling any holes.

About 14 seconds later the drill came out. I tapped in to the spotlight wiring and she was all finished.

I think I have enough lighting now.

I then proceeded to bolt up the rear awning. By now I was well and truely over the sun and hangover so I was glad this job too all of about 5 minutes to complete.

I also bolted up some new sliders later in the afternoon but didn't get any pics.

    Hey Ryan,

Great buildup and the truck looks great. Love it....

I would change you rear light bracket a little so it utilizes the mounts on the top and bottom bolts though, so you don't get too much vibration and possible cracking on the door skin for any outback travel over corrugated roads.

    Cheers mate.
I don't think I'll have any issues with the door cracking as the work light and bracket weights next to nothing.

Spent the Australia day long weekend camping at Landcruiser Park with the boys and our families. Epic weekend with lots of driving and no damage including a "interesting" night run on Sunday. The only thing we forgot was to get some decent pictures. Here's what I did manage to get though.
