Had a huge weekend. Thursday to Sunday was great. Thanks to everyone for a bloody great trip. And special thanks to the I tear staters who each made a huge effort to get to this Meetup.
The boys are camping another night at Knockwood before heading home tomorrow.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever. WARNING: Towballs used for recoveries can, and do kill people and damage property.
I had a look on Ericas phone and she took heaps of video and quite a few pics so will load them later also.. Now I have to get ready and drive to AB's to pick up Lucas and drop him off at the airport.

Yes id like to thank everyone for an awesome weekend. A massive thanks to you Winnie for picking me up and letting me co pilot the 747 and eat balls...... Thanks for the hospitality AB, without you none if us would have been there. Thankyou Jonathan for the lift back to the airport. Thanks George for the spin in the RX. Thanks Darren for the leadership and ofcourse that mega steep rock track! Thanks liftlid for showing me a lebanese slingshot hahaha! Thankyou everyone for the laughs and good times, I'll remember this for a long time. Halfway through a beer and half hour till my flight.
I have to agree was a killer weekend had a ball every single minute. i too was tempted to go missing 'lost for weeks' in the high country is a awesome place lets hope we can continue to go there for many years to come.
I do have some pics but bloody go pro played up and got bugger all video before i was flat.
I had such an amazing weekend, and as AB said they get better and better each time. I stayed an extra night there with Ben, Nic and Todd and apart from the rain we had a great night.
I was driving through thick snow on the way home today!
Thanks to everyone for coming, especially Ben, Nic, Todd and Lucas, what a huge effort from you guys (except Lucas, he had it easy).
I had a ride in Ben's ute.... I liked it a lot. It's one thing to see the flex photos and to read about how powerful it is but it is different to experience it. I jumped in with him to go up one track that only Ben and Darren attempted, so it was pretty hardcore. Woooooow I like Benny's ute! It was unreal, that is a whole different world of 4WDing to what I am used to and I like it! Then he took me for a ride on the road and woooooooow I like Benny's ute!
I'll post my photos later but I did not get a lot.
