    Knockwood photo's and write up

    Here are some pics I took and will be plenty more..

    I had a ball and will say more about it later when I get a chance.

    I wish Benny, Nick and Todd a save trip home, always so much fun.

    Me and Erica are buggered and I think I will keep Erica home tomorrow.

    Hey the date on your video is out

    This looks like a road we have out the back of Coffs called funnily enough "rocky road" incline, close to the edge and loose rocks everywhere :S

    Cheers,
    Eric.

    Yes mate. The plan was to use the handbrake. In the previous section it had been so steep that I had my foot on the brake to the firewall and I was still running downhill. Winnie had the same issue.
    It just wasn't in the plan to do it in neutral!!!!!

    I do remember you guys saying that you break problems. Would have been scary! Ben seemed to have the best gearing for the job.

    Yeah the concept of using the handbrake on a steep decent is to apply it softly so it is just grabbing and this adds drag to you drive shaft on a Patrol farther than your rear brakes and encourages better engine braking. The cars felt really settled going down there and most people did the second stage without massive brake fade.

    Was a great track.
    Its a Nissan! =====> Its a Keeper!! ....... Got a TD42 in it BONUS!! ....... I'm a lucky bugger! I've got 2 of em!

    The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
