What do you use to gain access to working under the bonnet?

I know RLI built himself a set of wooden steps to use while working under the bonnet. I think there is an army copyright infringement action against him

I'm using a double milk crate that's about as safe as an accident waiting to happen!

What are you guys using ?

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

    2 lumps of 12 x 6 oregon.
(was cut at an angle to make up a pair ramps)
and if that's to short I lay a board across the pair for another lift up.
couple of milk crates and a sleeper for a perch also works

    My giraffe legs are ok...

Careful using crates and chairs, changing the rear oil filter is pretty far down the bay and if you lean too much forward the crate gets away from you and you can chin yourself on the front quarter...LMAO
