    Roof Racks

    Hi
    Just wondering if anyone has tried to make roof racks, mate got a pipe bender and welder so we are gonna make up some set or our cars. If anyone has some tips? and also if anyone knows where to get the legs to connect it to the gutter other?

    Well if you wanna use Arb Mount system, sit down for a sec..
    You good..
    Right...

























    $300 for 6... And that's just leg. Not the bit the is welded to the rack, and nit including the extra support rail.. Just the leg and clip..

    But seriously, if you need to buy the clips you might aswell buy the rack..
    But sure you can make one. Keep in mind most good steal ones are 40-50 kg.. So really watch the weight..
    Use 1.6 wall tube, 32 od around the base, 25 around the top and threw the middle..

    I brought 3 x Rhino aero racks and made a rack to suit my needs, roller on the rear , brackets for awning, light pole and LED light bar all welded on.
    I like it along the traddie style rack
