    what type of air filter???

    hey guys was just wondering what type of air filter is best?i have a non turboed 4.2 deisel wit a normal nissan fitted snorkel and filter housing.does anyone know if a k&n one wikk fit straight in?and are they worth the bucks?

    My personal opinion is stick to using genuine Nissan paper filters. You can get K&N filters but I won't touch them myself.

    why is that?---the bloke i was talking to today rated them very highly---infact they claim to increase your horsepower by a couple of percent

    They often do increase power slightly due to their high air flow. I'm not convinced of their abillity to filter the super fine dust you can find off road or the volume of dust that can be encountered.
