Rear barn door rattles
Hi all
I've been trying to track down an annoying rattle in the back of the patrol and it seems it might be the large rear barn door. If I hold the spare wheel and try and pick it up, it appears to replicate the sound.
Anyone had a similar issue and found a solution? Does it sound like a hinge replacement might solve it?
Thanks for reading
Andy

If the hinge prices are anything like Toyotas I'd be more inclined to drill and fit larger pins if that's where your problem is
Tojo want $390 each

Wow that's scary. I think I will have to investigate further to be sure. I was just curious if anyone had a similar drama as I'm sure I wouldn't be the only one.

Nice. If someone who has done this can explain what they did or post a photo that would help a lot.

It is the top latch normally and as a quick fix to stop me going insane and killing the innocent I stuck electrical tape around it and problem solved for now...
Where the large doors latches to at the top should be the culprit.

Gday, recently had same prob n flashing on/off int light coz of door. Used impact driver to untension U plates, tapped em inwards with hammer, slam doors, retension.
Problem solved, can even notice bit tighter opening handles, nice 5 min job.
Do top n bottom of doors .
