Rear diff for 1992 urgy60 Nissan Patrol

Can someone tell me what diff this truck needs please ? We have no idea!

From what I have read HH43 is the H260 rear diff with 4.375:1 ratio

I'm sure someone with more technical knowledge will be on soon enough to answer your question...

Some more info on the truck might be helpful also

It will be on your compliance plate mate it will have either the above or a hg then a number.

The number that follows is the ratio
39-3.9:1
41-4.1:1
Etc etc.

What diff is meant to be in it............below copied from his intro thread

He has a 1992 URGY60 Patrol (I think).

It needs a new rear diff - but our local Nissan agent was bloody useless - reckoned they had lost the workshop manual, etc.

It is a flat deck 4x4 diesel.

We think the rear diff he needs might be an H260 ?

The truck has a sticker saying it has an HH43 - is this the diff ratio thingy ?

The wreckers couldn't find one in NZ - who is the most reliable supplier in Aus, to get one from ?

You could try contacting Canterbury Cars 4x4 in Christchurch. They used to import a lot of Patrols/Safaris and should know who would have the part you need. They should also know of dealers/ wreckers closer to you...
