    Tb45 head on a tb42 can it be done??

    Heard along the great fine that a tb45 head can be put on a tb42 and they go well anybody eles heard this? and if so whats involved ?? i will also be putting a turbo (t3/t4) with front mount on it not straight away tho any info would be great

    I done a Google search the other day - found one guy who had done this - it went not great. He ended up putting the complete tb45 in his gq.

    Much better if you could put a TB48 head on it. Got me thinking. Actually, very hard prob impossible considering TB48 is Twin Overhead Cam. ie different timing cover/chains/etc. Prob best to get TB42/exist head ported/modified/improved rather than anything else.
