    Thanks Guys,
Doesn't sound to hard - just like sand just wetter and messier.

I'll let you know how I get on. Pics coming.

Just remember the 30 minutes of fun playing in the mud will be followed by 3 hours of cleaning the mud from your Troll afterwards.

Unless you take it on the beach and sand blast the underneath clean, that'll save some time lol

Now after playing sink or float with my patrol and 6000 in repair bills I now approach the bog hole slowly engage reverse and look for a way around it haha
Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward.
Whoever cannot take care of themselves without that law is both.
For a wounded man shall say to his assailant,
'If I live, I will kill you. If I die, You are forgiven.'
Such is the rule of honour.

Looking forward to pics. Don't let them be like mine - stuck deep with everyone laughing.

Wondering about the mud? The wadi has a spring or something? Certainly no rain over here lately and I can't imagine there either?

Enjoy the change anyway. After cleaning you will move back to sand - ha ha
    Thanks, Cameron
No Patrol now - Just good memories!

Momentum is definitely key but there is also another factor to consider and that is static grip.
In laymans terms a static object has higher ground friction than the same object once slidding.
This comes into play once wheels start spinning, you will actually have less grip in order to move forward.

If you feel the wheels starting to spin, back off the accelerator in order to regain static grip then carefully re- apply power. All while keeping momentum going.
If you get it right you will be a star in the mud and generally out drive most others running a similar tyre to you.
In really slippery conditions you will end up feathering the accelerator pedal.

My other tip is once really struggling for grip wrench the steering wheel side to side, can make all the difference. Even the weight transfer side to side can be enough to get you going again.

    Have fun.
