My GQ spare wheel rest.
This is something I knocked up some time ago for my GQ,
I found that when lifting a 35 back onto the rack it was very heavy and hard to line up the studs.
This little bracket is simple, bolts on and allows me to rest the wheel and then turn it to line up with the studs and just push the wheel on and fit the nuts. I dunno why Mr Nissan didn't do this on the GQ?, to save money I spose
Simple to make if you're handy with a welder, a short bit of 3'' pipe and a bit of flat plate, a drill and a couple of small bolts.

Patrol God
Other vehicle manufactures have had a similar idea for a long time. As Ferret has sayed "I dunno why Mr Nissan didn't do this on the GQ?" As I agree the 35's are bloody heavy to lift onto raised vehicles.
In the words of a Dhuck "QUACK".

I could do, there is about half an hour in making one, plus paint, bolts and washers/material etc, then there is a few beers after so you could have one on your doorstep for $40.
anyone interested can go here: www.ferretdeflators.com and order one and I'll make it next day.

I never thought of that, but wouldn't you need to then weld it on, burn the paint etc, Mine just bolts on with two 3/8 bolts, if ya gunna cut one off and weld it on, ya may as well just bend up a bit of 3mm plate and burn it on!! easier to drill two holes methinks, LOL
