2010 crd auto
i have a 2010 crd auto and every now and then the auto won't move out of park, you have to turn the engine off and restart for it to shift out of park, suspect an electrcal fault, any thoughts.

I'd be taking back to Nissan. Is it still under warranty.
Have you tried the shift lock release button above the Park logo
2011 GU8 ST 3.0 CRD, ARB Bullbar with IPF spotties, scrub bars and side steps, Snorkel, Dual Battery system, Waeco fridge, Turbo Timer, ARB Roof Rack with 5 IPF spotties across the front, Custom full Leather Bucket seats, DPchip, 3" Taipan exhaust, ARE Intercooler & scoop, Autron EGT/Boost and dual volt gauges, ARB front locker.

sometimes the shift lock release button works but not all the time, will be getting nissan to look at it in the next service.

Very interesting. Try pressing shift lock before starting the car. And start it in neutral.

Don't you have to have the foot brake applied, its like a safety thing
04 ST 3lt auto, not enough Mods to keep me happy, but getting there

mine had this fault it starts off intermittantly then becomes completely inopperable,had an entire t bar mechanism replaced under warrenty ...approb $1200...dont wait till next service get it done straight away.
