DIY parking sensor

Was going to buy one of those electronic parking sensors for the garage. Instead got all tight arse and decided on a manual version. Nissan being longer than the commodore we had, needed perfect parking every time. Consists of thumb tac for the roof, old shoe lace, and a ball (nicked one from the kids). Poke lace through ball. Park car in exact position, pin shoe lace to roof so ball touches windscreen in front of your face. Presto DIY parking sensor. ImageUploadedByMotorculture1376512139.992100.jpg

only problem i have with it is the missus's cat seems to like playing with the ball. damn cat prints on the car then also grrrrrr
