Barn door lock - seperate key?

    Gu patrol 2008 dx
Bought the car second hand with just a single car key.
The key wont go all the way in to the lock in the barn door.
    Is there a separate key?

Should be exactly the same barrel mate, same key.

Barrel might have something inside, like a section of the other key you didn't get is my guess.

Maybe someone tried to break in and stuffed it some how
    Sometimes feels weird using key,
Squirt some CRC into key hole

Use silicon spray instead of CRC in key holes. Dust sticks to CRC and similar and can ruin locks.

    Does dust stick in silicon?!

Wouldn't graphite powder be the go, unless it was fairly wet.

Yep, definitely use graphite inside barrel locks.
Or builders thick lead pencil , scrub key with it shoud work same.
