    For those that want a folding knife that'll do most camp duties here are a few to chose from.
    Personally I'd throw away the sheath and use one of OD side draw numbers. Any of these would be ok and not break the bank.
    These are more traditional to some that are out there and should last you for ages

    Yo OD just looking at some knives and have decided to turn either my 110 or Schrade Bear Paw
    into a finger groove knife, Saw it years ago in one of the Bikie mags [Easy Rider with miraculas mother]
    That should bring back memories for some he he he Ill do a DIY thing on it as others may want to do the mod
    as well. Handy if your hands are covered in blood.

    just picked this bad boy, whopper chopper up from the PO Box. A Schrade Extreme Tanto, full tang at roughly 4-5mm thick and Molle sheath.

    It's got some weight behind, couldn't pass this up at $40 delivered.

    Yes it is its bigger than what you think, Ive had 2 confiscated by
    the grubs seems Border control dont get them issued Grrrrr
    I leave it in the Patrol along with some others. Its about 8" OA

    @ OD is that blade about 5" long , nice and thick too for chopping.

    5-6" roughly. Also regs have changed in single hand opening knives, they've removed from the flick / Spring assist category now and are permitted under the act.

    About time too just because those 2 were a bit looser than normal an opened with a flick they took them.
    My one is easy to open by one hand so happy with that,

    When you get around to making a new sheath post over the camo one,
    I have 2 sets of Molle pouches aus cam digital and tan.

    @ Hodge you wont be disappointed with that Leatherman
    very sturdy, even has a windscreen breaker lol
