    Door trim fastening??????

Hey guys I have posed this question before and just want to know if anybody has had any experience with peel rivets when replacing the old door trims on your cars?

I was going to just reuse the original rubber/plastic push stop thingys (probably the technical name) but i dont know how brittle old and bunged out they would be and I'm not a fan of spending my hard earned on something that I'm not sure of.

If I dont use reuse them is there anything else people have used to secure the new trims.

    any help would be great

Those push thingies are cheap enough it you need to replace them ,
other than that I don't think double sided tape would do the job.

They're usually fine to remove and refit. Its the flimsy door trim that I would be concerned about. Just don't yank hard at the trim otherwise the trim and/or the clip will break.
