Fuel Consumption on a 2007 Walkabout?
Hi Guys,
I am currently purchasing a 2007 Walkabout Wagon and was wondering what type of fuel consumption I would expect to get. It's 3ltr TD, 165,000 k's, snorkel and has bigger tyres on it, 35's I think (biggest that can fit in guard and on 16" rims).
Thx for any help.
Wayne

35s wont pass RWC but the CRDs are a tad thirstier than the Di. around town I would think figures in the 13ltr/100 Ks
would be about normal, towing expect 15-16/100 for a light camper.
Figures outside this may require the MAF sensor to be sprayed 5 min job

Thx threedogs. Not sure if they are 35's. Is going in for roadworthy on Wednesday, before I get it so will wait and see. Maybe 33's. He took of the front mudflaps because he said they rubbed when turning. Fuel seems to be ok, I was just reading a thread with someone getting 28 and was starting to worry.

Maybe 35s then, 315s or even 305s no lift?,
Those figures of 28/100 would be for a 4.8 Petrol Ti or similar
Put some pics up when you get it in Members Ride

There are a few fishing up the Murray this weekend , but some others are meeting in the high country soon as well.
Myself I'll be going up the Murray fishing shortly as well, more than welcome if fishing is your thing
