Legendary
I've gone the KM2's, even though I have had a great run out of the MTZ's ( and good mileage too ) .....
We will see if I have made the right choice, but I managed to save over $60 per tyre, and I can sell my brand new MTZ spare, that I haven't used.

You won't regret it. I haven't heard of anyone trading in their KM2's because they were unhappy with them for their intended purpose.
Between Patrols ATM. Had a beaut GU with 6.5 Chev TD. Next is a GU ute with a 4.5 litre Cummins conversion and a camper on the back.

Legendary
A little bit to early to tell, but they have been great so far, with around 7000 klms on them, running all sorts of different pressures during a double Simpson Desert crossing.
Minimal Tread wear and damage from all the Gibber Stones / Rocks too.

I have the same dilemma as you , my MTZs are on their last legs and even though I've had a great run from them
I'm not 100% I'd use them again, Heard only good stories about the KM2s so looks like I'll be doing the same as you
04 ST 3lt auto, not enough Mods to keep me happy, but getting there

The thing I am most impressed with, is the fact that I was running non ideal tyre pressures on the bitumen and hard surfaces at speed ( We were in a convoy of three vehicles, and if I was on my own, would have stopped to re-check and adjust pressures ), and there are no signs of the trailing edges of the tread blocks feathering.
I think the MTZ's, which were fantastic, are a little more prone to uneven wear from running the wrong tyre pressures....
