"ID Error" on stock Radio
Hi everyone,
It's been a while since I've been on. Busy with work, but also doing some minor stuff to the Patrol. I recently had the battery disconnected to do something, and now the radio is playing up a little.
It shows "ID Error" on startup for about 3 - 5 seconds, and then that message goes away, but the display keeps flashing continually. Everything still works without problems, but the flashing display is really annoying.
I disconnected the battery and reconnected it several times (once for an hour) but still the same problem. Auto electricians and Nissan don't have any idea, and I can't find anything on the web. Any help would be appreciated.

No idea yet unfortunately. I've looked in the manual and don't know what brand, but I will see if I can find the model number tonight and get back to you about it.

Hi guys,
Thanks for your input. I have spoken with a number of Nissan dealers and got Garry from Nizzbits to help me out (He has been fantastic), but no one knows anything about it. I was contemplating about a new headunit anyway, but I guess it's probably more of a priority now... It sucks as the car is only 3 years old this month and the radio is good, but I will get a custom unit in it I reckon.
Thanks again for your help.
