    Oil for GQ TD-42

    Greetings

    I am about to do an oil change on my Diesel (I only got vehicke about six months ago). The previous oil used was

    Mobili have told me thatoild has been superseded by

    and has another additive. Does anyone know if the Castrol oil below would be a suitable substitution.

    I have ben using that Castrol for many years in both TD42s and had no trouble from either.

    I buy when SC ahve a 20% off sale an buy 1 or 2 20lt drums for a good saving. Or f you have an RACV membership then you will get a 10 or 15% discount over the counter at any Repco in Australia on that oil.

    Replace the oil every 5000 to 10,000kms depending on the driving style and Filters every 10,000. Happy days mate.

    I do the oil every 7000 to 10,000 in the GUIV as i do a heap of flat freeway commute driving in it
    Its a Nissan! =====> Its a Keeper!! ....... Got a TD42 in it BONUS!! ....... I'm a lucky bugger! I've got 2 of em!

    The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

    Just checking out the RAA site here in SA and they are advertising 20% discount for members in Repco stores in July. That is the case here in SA anyway, not sure about elsewhere.
