The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

It's worth the trip already,
Dropped the wagon off at the workshop and the guys explained exactly what they will do and come back at about 2pm,
Walked into town and found a great little shop and just ordered the Berrima Big Aussie Brekky,
The Hotel is not open yet but will venture in there for lunch,
Cheers

Well i'm back,
This is what they did,
1. Remove, injectors, test, dismantle, clean & inspect nozzles.
2. Install 6 new nozzles.
3.Inspect needle lift.
4.Buff intermediate plates.
5.Shim to matching & correct cracking pressures.
6.Re assemble, test & calibrate injectors.
7.Adjust valve clearances.
8.Adjust injection timing & automatic advance operation.
9.Adjust injection pump transfer pressure, fuel loadings & governor control.
10.Installed new delphi fuel filter with glass bottom.
11.Flush fuel lines to fuel tank & test flow rate & restriction level.
Only did the 200km trip on the highway home last night,
Definately better in all the gears with more punch especially 4th gear, goes a shipload better,
But remember its still a 3 tonne 4wd not a V8 commodore,
Heading up the Cape in 2 weeks for a month, so we will see how it goes then fuel economy & all.
Cheers
Tonks.
