I can live with a half reno'd house. I did that for 12 years in the last place. The extra we had borrowed, was to only just cover the important works. Its just the stuff that really needs to be done, looks like we can't. Hopefully I get a call tomorrow from the broker saying there was an error elsewhere and we have the funds.
Ahh well. Time to finish of the bottle of red.

Hope they just fubared up Marko. Shame as I know you had grand reno plans in the pipeline.

I had the same thing happen to me when I moved in to my current house 12 years ago, told the bank I wanted 25K available to draw to do some additions and they f@#ked up.
When I told them they should sort it out they told me I would need to re-apply for a new loan and pay a fee but I was to pig headed to do that so ended up having to wait a few years before I could get my shed and veranda.

Paying the fee's again would piss me off more than re applying.

Having a 3" Exhaust fitted yesterday by a highly recommended exhaust shop and having it leak on the way home today. Sounds like its leaking at the flange behind the heat shield on the dump pipe! I said to this guy when I dropped it off, how sick I was of having to take my 4wd back for rectification work every time I have a mod done. He assured me the job would be done right! Faaark! I wish I had a decent shed I could put my own hoist in.

Absolutely gutted to hear this morning that my old local pub burned down last night and the publican who lived upstairs died in the fire.
I spent many teenage nights in that pub. RIP Johnny.
