Dolphins are so smart that within a few weeks of captivity, they can train people to stand on the very edge of the pool and throw them fish.

Problems elsewhere unfortunately ET but 100% confirmed over the last 2 weeks that the problem is where I know where it's at. Being a shit time the last few weeks mate and questioned myself and my car but this should be in the happy thread mate as of today I confirmed my car is fine.... This thread stays here until I make yet another phone call
Pretty much over testing and pulling my car apart!

Tried replacing the ac bearing today..
Fark what a head fark..
In short it's rooted now..
The nose cone spline is seized onto the shaft...
So if the nose cone not budging it's a replacement job..
$1500 for genuine pump alone..
Aftermarket is about $900..
But..
Thank fark for warrenty..
It's covered..
In one part it's paid for itself..
(Not that we paid for it, got it in the sale)..
Phew

Its not that hard mate. Just need the right tools and it comes apart quite easy. But if its under warranty, let someone else worry about it.

X 2 what Mark said leave it to others to repair,
that's $1500 of fuel saved for any big trip

To true. .
I'll get the bloke to grease the shaft before it goes in so is got a fighting chance of coming off down the track..

Tried jacking bolts in the nose cone, had em near snapping point..
Then swapped to a jacking bolt setup and was bending 5mm plate..
