Turns out it appears to be an Aus Post problem, The item is not marked as sent until it passes through a scan at a major DC (distribution centre?) What happen in the 9 day from payment until then is the question.
Cheers

Its disappointing. It only takes 5 days to get a box full of parts from dubai. The longest I have waited is 6 days from the us.

Auspost give me the shits. I don't understand how things like that can take 9 days but it happens often. I always track my deliveries and they do sit in one place for days at a time. It has taken 2 weeks for me to get something from Melbourne (150km away)

I check the tracking as well. My last one left dubai friday and was in sydney saturday. It has been delivered today.

The list of things the pup has destroyed because its too wet to go out.
1 shoe cupboard, I had to screw some sheet metal around the bottom, replace the screws on the hinges, and fit a lock.
2 packets of ping pong balls
1 pot plant which had mint planted in it.
3 shoelaces
1 camping chair, which she used to sit on.
My advice is: not to follow my advice.

The pup would be flying headfirst outside into the wet, if that happened at my place lol. And stay there for the night.

She lives outside with the other dogs. I would lock her in the shed, but I have three soft-hearted family members who would turn their scorn on me if I did that.

We bought a watch for one of our workers from Donington in England, it took 3 & 1/2 days to be delivered to our door in Old Bar, amazing service!
Aus Post here loses our outgoing invoices regularly, we send reminders and the customers ring up very upset.
The Aus Post response is to register each individual letter at extra cost and time. And to ice the cake we have never been asked which post office we use, there might be a common denominator that can be traced and the problem fixed. A bloody lousy service, not what it used to be.
Cheers
