Cleaning out my shed and realising the amount of money I wasted on useless crap I just 'had to have' and never ended up using at all or used once and realised it was useless crap.
God damn you Ebay.........
OMG what have I done...
No, no, I take it back, I'm sorry, I love you Ebay, all is forgiven
Back in 5...
Just gotta check the deals page and update a few bids

Paperwork, paperwork has made me angry. Particularly government tenders. They expect 100's of pages of information. You submit, they reply with about 100 words.
So, pointless amounts of paperwork that could actually be summed up to about 2 pages.
For example: to tender on a government job you need to prove (by way of documentation) you are environmentally sustainable and have a 'green stamp'. Fair enough, but requesting it every time is completely un-environmentally friendly.
A recent study (academic) showed that the government in the UK save 900 million Euro in 12 months by simplifying their paperwork (Forms etc). Savings came from reprints, reworkingsof incorrectly worded forms, and time spent explaining their dribble to the public (Dwyer 2015).
End rant...now back to my tenders.

Legendary
2005 GU IV ST 3.0. Snorkel. Roof rack. Awning. Spots. Welded I/C. Dual batteries & VSR. UHF. Barn door hinge extension. Roof top spot lights. Rear drawers. 2" lift. NADS. EGT and boost gauges. Trans temp and water temp gauges. Provent 200 catch can. Rear ladder
And crawling on the planet's face, some insects called the human race. Lost in time. And lost in space... and meaning.

I know what you mean, the last big government tender we responded to ended up being a 180 page response and we had to supply 3 printed and bound copies.
When we finished our response we estimated it had cost us in excess of $20,000 in labour, samples and research.
Was all worth it in the end as we won and was worth $8mil over 3 years.

SUCH IS LIFE
...and they like to release these just before Christmas as they think people have nothing better to do then work on their tenders over Christmas!

The reason for that timing is we Gov't dudes all have Xmas off and a reduced activity period with our Families and go fishing and camping and wheeling and generally kick back.
Then, when we go back to work the Tenders are all there in the Tender Box waiting for evaluation and we haven't wasted time and tax payer dollars sitting around waiting for them to come in.
See, we do it for you as a more efficient Gov't is a better Gov't and it saves you money as well.
Our next big batch is due for release week before Easter and closing 26th April

Hell no...
After Morning smoko finishes to start of Lunch is a hectic 20 minutes and I'm as flat out as a Lizard drinking.
Gotta clean coffee cup (Jeez I miss the days of having a Tea Lady),
Log on and check emails for mates wanting a chat,
Block out Calendar for the arvo so noone schedules any meetings,
Set the 'out of office' wizard on Outlook so it bounces all work emails,
Divert phone to msg bank,
Think of excuse to piss off early
