We lost a young 24 year old veteran last Tuesday, who unfortunately cir-cum to severe depression resulting in him taking his own life. I am still shocked.
It was one veteran that i failed to detect, that was suffering horrendous psychological pain and i feel that i let him down!

You can't win em all mate
We have a program in construction
Mates in construction (MIC) in our industry the suicide rate is 3x the national average and 6x for blokes under 25! Phucking shocking. Programs are run and normal blokes can become "connectors" recognize symptoms but you can never see it all mate

thats so sad mate. If only they knew how appreciated they were.
I heard a statistic today that in the last 10 years in the UK, more soldiers have taken their own life than have been killed in action..... thats is very sad

I changed mine over fairly quickly to something more appropriate.

The fact that I get home from working at splendour in the grass setting up to get a phone call that my patrol that I Lent to my stupid brother in law for the day has broken down as I bet he was being a stupid prick like he does and was over giving it heaps so FRICKING annoyed as he won't pay a cent to fix it. From the sounds of it they have blown something as from what I was told there is oil everywhere but they don't know where it's coming from!. Mmm
